Workstations are configured, not stocked — so a useful quote starts with a few things from you. Here’s the short list.
“What does a workstation cost?” doesn’t have a sticker-price answer, because Friant workstations are configured to your space — panels or benching, finishes, power, storage, and how many. The good news: a genuinely useful quote only needs a few things from you. Send these and we can get specific fast.
The five things to send
- A floor plan — even a rough one. A PDF, a sketch, or last tenant’s layout all work.
- Headcount & stations — how many people, and any growth you’re planning for.
- Finish level — clean and budget-conscious, or premium? Even a “somewhere in between” helps.
- Power & data needs — lots of cabling, dual monitors, sit-stand desks? It changes the base spec.
- Timeline — when you need to be working in the space.
What actually shapes the number
- System. Panel workstations (Novo, Interra) vs. open benching (Verity) carry different costs per seat.
- Finish level. Standard laminates and paint vs. premium finishes, glass, and specialty tiles.
- Scope. A handful of stations vs. a full floor — more seats, more panels, doors, and connections.
- Power & storage. Powered bases, sit-stand desks, pedestals, and overhead storage all add to the spec.
An honest word on lead time
Friant offers a range of lead times, and they note all of them are estimated due to current supply-chain conditions. There’s a 10-day Quickship program, but it’s focused on select System 2 sizes and finishes — not a blanket promise across every line. So rather than quote you a number we can’t guarantee, we’ll give you the current, real lead time for your specific configuration when we quote. Two things worth knowing: Friant runs a COM (Customer’s Own Material) program if you want your own fabric, and offers GSA pricing for public agencies, schools, and non-profits.

What do I need to send to get an office workstation quote?
