Friant Verity: benching that grows with the team

Open-plan benching built for interaction — with per-person power, add-on growth, and privacy where you actually need it.

Not every team should sit behind tall panels. Friant built Verity as “a benching system that creates a productive workspace, which welcomes interaction and enhances the workflow for teams.” If your people collaborate more than they hide, benching is often the better — and more affordable per seat — answer.

Is benching right for your team?

Benching shares a continuous run of worksurface instead of boxing each person into a panel cubicle. It reads open, it packs efficiently, and it’s easy to grow. Verity comes single-sided or double-sided, and its “120 Degree Feature” lets you fan workstations out for more room while keeping the open-bench feel.

Made to grow

Friant designs Verity to be “Made to Grow” — you attach units as the team expands, instead of buying a whole new set of workstations every time you add headcount. For a company that’s still figuring out its size, that’s the point.

Power, one person at a time

Verity comes standard with top-access power and cord management below the surface, and — importantly — “each person gets their own power module” so nobody fights for an outlet. Powered units carry the same 8-wire, four 20-amp circuit backbone, with high cable lay-in under the surface.

Privacy where you actually need it

Open doesn’t have to mean exposed. Verity offers track-mounted screens in fabric or glass, surface-mounted screens in fabric, glass, or markerboard, and modesty panels — so you add privacy at the seats that need it without walling off the whole floor. Worksurfaces are supported by legs, pedestals, cabinets, or credenzas.

The long-view details

Verity is rated at up to 45% recycled content (30% pre-consumer plus 15% post-consumer) in a typical configuration and up to 75% recyclable, may contribute to LEED points, and carries Friant’s Limited Lifetime Warranty to the original owner.

The honest version

Benching isn’t for everyone — a floor full of heads-down focus roles may still want panels. But for collaborative teams, growing teams, and budgets that need more seats per dollar, Verity is usually the smarter open-plan move. Send us a floor plan and headcount and we’ll lay it out both ways.

Frequently asked

What is the Friant Verity benching system?

Verity is an open-plan benching system from Friant designed to welcome interaction and support team workflow. It comes single-sided or double-sided, offers a 120-degree configuration, and is built to grow by adding units as teams expand.

Does Friant Verity benching have power for each person?

Yes. Verity comes standard with top-access power and below-surface cord management, and each person gets their own power module. Powered units use an 8-wire, four 20-amp circuit system with high cable lay-in under the surface.

Can you add privacy to Friant Verity benching?

Yes. Verity offers track-mounted screens in fabric or glass, surface-mounted screens in fabric, glass, or markerboard, and modesty panels — so privacy can be added at specific seats without enclosing the whole floor.

Is benching cheaper than cubicles?

Benching like Verity typically fits more seats per square foot and per dollar than panel cubicles and is easier to grow, which is why collaborative and growing teams often choose it. Heads-down, focus-heavy teams may still prefer panel workstations.
