AMQ Height Adjustable Desks
AMQ Height Adjustable Desks: Cluvo and Activ Pro 2.0
Sit-stand desks stopped being a perk a while ago. The question now is whether the one you buy still feels solid on year three. AMQ builds two: Cluvo for the desks that carry the room, and Activ Pro 2.0 for the rest of the floor. Both carry a ten year warranty.
Cluvo
Synchronized internal motors with anti-collision sensing, carrying 300 pounds on the three stage base and 250 on the two stage. The worksurface travels about two inches per second, so the transition is quiet and does not interrupt the room. The floating edge, rounded corners and slim foot mean it reads as furniture rather than equipment, and the leg sleeves are color coordinated with room inside them for cord management.
Activ Pro 2.0
The height adjustable desk for the rest of the floor. Two or three stage legs, T or C foot, a 225 pound lift on two stage legs and 250 on three, and an easy-to-program four preset switch as standard. Integrated cable management keeps the underside clean, and it corners at 90 or 120 degrees so it follows the room.

Why it matters on year three
- Lift capacity decides whether a loaded desk still moves smoothly. On three stage legs Cluvo is rated to 300 pounds and Activ Pro 2.0 to 250; on two stage it is 250 and 225.
- Anti-collision sensing stops the desk when it meets a pedestal or a windowsill.
- Cable management is what stops a height adjustable desk becoming a fixed one, because a desk that pulls its own cables gets left down.
- Ten year warranty on both, which is unusual on a moving product.
AMQ height adjustable FAQ
What is the difference between Cluvo and Activ Pro 2.0?
Cluvo is the flagship: higher lift capacity, more finish choice, and a detailed edge and foot profile. Activ Pro 2.0 covers the rest of the floor with the same ten year warranty. Most floors use a mix.
Do they coordinate with the rest of the furniture?
Yes. AMQ Embank casegoods are built to coordinate with the Activ Pro bases, so a height adjustable desk in a private office does not look like it arrived from a different building.
Can they be specified with panels or benching?
Yes. Height adjustable bases can sit inside a Tektis panel workstation or on a Kinex bench run. We specify the whole station rather than the desk on its own.
Do you install them?
Yes. We deliver and professionally install across San Diego and Southern California, including leveling and cable management, and the cardboard leaves with us.
Send us your floor plan and we will mix the desks to the work, or see the full AMQ line.
