The Boss B1690 is a stand-up drafting stool built for work that happens above standard seated height, such as drafting tables, lab benches, reception counters, and standing-height workstations. The seat and back are contoured to help relieve back strain and provide added lumbar support through extended periods of work, so you stay supported whether you are seated for a few minutes or a full shift.
Seat height is set with a pneumatic gas lift, allowing versatile adjustment to match your comfort and your work environment. A 20-inch diameter chrome footring is attached to give your legs and feet a place to rest at the raised seating positions a standard chair cannot reach. Hooded double-wheel casters let the stool move and change direction easily across the floor.
The B1690 is upholstered in black antimicrobial vinyl (model B1690-CS) and is also offered in a black finish (B1690-BK). It is rated to a 275 lb weight capacity, is MAS Green Certified, and meets CA TB117-2013.
