AMQ Benching and Panel Systems
AMQ Kinex Benching and Tektis Panel Systems
Open plan benching lives or dies on where the cords go. Kinex runs power and data through the spine of the bench. Tektis is the panel system that comes apart and goes back together when the team changes shape. Miramar Office Furniture plans, delivers and installs both across San Diego and Southern California.
Kinex benching
Power and data run through the spine instead of taped underneath a surface. Single or double runs, one, two and three stage legs with anti-collision, and a 265 pound lift. Laminate worksurfaces from 48 to 72 inches wide in 24 and 30 inch depths, on bases in platinum, white, black or merle, with privacy end panels where a run needs them.
Tektis panels

Fabric tackable panels, glass stackers, and a frameless glass option in clear or frosted, laid out straight, at 90 degrees, or at 120 degrees. Power and data run inside the system.
Thirteen laminate finishes, with fixed steel pedestals, overheads and hanging markerboards.

AMQ benching and panels FAQ
What is the difference between Kinex and Tektis?
Kinex is benching: shared runs of worksurface with power through the spine, suited to open plan teams. Tektis is a panel system: individual workstations with tackable fabric panels and glass stackers, suited to floors that need seated or standing privacy.
Can the panels be reconfigured later?
That is the point of the system. Tektis comes apart and goes back together in a new layout, which is why it suits organizations that expect to change shape.
How does power reach the workstations?
Power and data run inside the system rather than around it. Where the run can physically connect to a building feed is the constraint that usually decides the layout, so we work backward from your power locations.
Do you provide a drawing before we buy?
Yes. We produce real layout options drawn on your floor plan, not a catalog page, and we confirm finishes with physical samples under your own lighting.
Send us your floor plan and we will show you how the runs land, or see the full AMQ line.
