The Boss B1637-BK is a multi-function fabric drafting stool upholstered in Black Crepe fabric. It is built for elevated work surfaces (drafting tables, standing-height desks, lab benches, and counters) where a standard task chair sits too low. A pneumatic gas-lift adjustment raises and lowers the seat across a wide range, and a 20-inch diameter chrome footring gives your legs and feet support at the higher seated position.
Comfort comes from a 3-paddle multi-function mechanism paired with a seat tilt lock. The tilt lock allows the seat to lock throughout the back-angle range, so you can dial in a personalized, ergonomic back-support angle and hold it. An upright lock and infinite locking let you fix the stool in the position you prefer. The chair carries loop arms for added support while seated.
Underneath, a large 27-inch black nylon base adds stability at raised heights, and hooded dual-wheel nylon casters let the stool roll easily across the floor. With a 275 lb weight capacity, MAS Green certification, and CA TB117-2013 compliance, the B1637-BK is a practical, durable choice for demanding elevated workstations.
