During a freezing cold week in November, I forged through the Wyoming winter landscape, waiting for the magic of the winter sun rise to break through the dark sky. As I watched the horizon begin to glow, the image revealed itself through the trees – a perfect composition of stark white Aspens, rugged pines and bright snow. A crisp breeze flowed over the mountain peak – freezing me the bone as I pressed the shutter to capture the moment.
